* born 1968 in Oberhausen (Germany), lives and works as a freelance artist and lecturer in Walberberg and Alfter near Bonn. After studying product design with a focus on porcelain, ceramic and glass design at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, she completed a degree in fine arts with a focus on sculpture and installation at the Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences. In her artistic research, she gives new expression to the ephemeral or the past, the remembered, the buried or the ignored. Her artistic means alternate between ceramics, photography and drawing, which she relates to each other in spatial installations. Through structured actions, she changes contexts and thus makes new things tangible. Her works are represented in public collections and can be seen in international exhibitions.
