TINA VAN DE WEYER
* born 1985, lives and works as a freelance artist in Bonn since studying photography and video art at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. In her artistic work, she criticises human interventions in the surrounding nature. Not only processes between man and the environment, but also the staging of nature itself are reflected upon. Observation of nature and the transformation of what she sees into an intense pictorial reality are conditions for her work processes. In doing so, she expands her means and her space according to parameters defined by herself. A photograph becomes an object that protrudes into the space, a video work becomes a multidimensional installation. Tina van de Weyer's experimental installations, which continually test the limits of the media, can be seen internationally in exhibitions and at festivals.
