*1974 in Dresden (DE), after studying painting at the Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences she since lives and works in Bonn and Grafschaft, where she conducts research on biodiversity in national and international projects. Her focus is on visualising and archiving the botanical spectrum of the family of grasses. Cultural anthropological and aesthetic aspects are both of equal interest. Her main media are painting, drawing, heliogravure, stencil graffiti, installation, and land art. In addition to her artistic work, Cornelia Genschow is a freelance curator and lecturer. Her work can be seen in public collections and at international exhibitions and projects. She is running the gallery format Raum für Kunst und Natur in Bonn since 2009.
